JESUS WALKED IN ASIAN SOIL

“In ‘the fullness of time’ (Gal 4:4), he sent his only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ the Savior, who took flesh as an Asian!” It is in Asian soil that God’s promise was fulfilled – He will walk among us and be our God. In the discovery and appreciation of the Incarnation of the Son of God as a man of Asia, the Church of Asia may encounter a deeper connection in our identity and faith, in our culture and devotion – a new walk in faith. When we encounter Christ, who has walked our Asian land and crossed our Asian history, we may find a greater sense of faith in the walk of Asian people.
